Spaghetti Sauce

Spaghetti is a family favorite so I figured I would share my favorite recipe for sauce (with meatballs!) I mean come on it has meatballs you know you want to try this recipe! You can change out the ground meat with whatever. I have made this often with ground beef, and a mix of ground meat and ground pork (mild). But this is as basic and as simple as it comes, nothing crazy about it.

You Will Need:

3-6 tsp Homemade Italian Seasoning (to taste)
Homemade Meatballs
1/2 Organic Onion, chopped
Organic Olive Oil
1 lb Organic Ground Meat
1 Can Organic Tomatoes, diced
1 Can Organic Tomato Sauce
1 tsp Organic Garlic, fresh
Salt & Pepper, to taste

Dice your onions

Add garlic, onion, and olive oil in a stock pot

Add salt

Add pepper

Cook until translucent

Add ground meat

Cooking until browned

Drain off extra grease (when I use turkey I leave the olive oil because it gives it a deeper flavor to the sauce; if you use hamburger meat drain for sure)

Add tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes (I also added basil, parsley and garlic salt)

Let Simmer then add spices

Add your Italian seasoning, adjusting to your taste

I used homemade meatballs I had fully cooked frozen, I added them in and let this simmer for 2 hours
