Swiss Steak {aka Pepper Steak}!

Growing up my mother always bought those frozen T.V. dinners and I loved the pepper steak so much. But being an adult and finally understanding what is in my food I took a stand against T.V. dinners and decided to put my love for cooking to use. I found out how to make my favorite meal and how to freeze it like those tiny T.V. dinners! Trust me I have never gone back to them and never will. This is by far one of my favorite meals and I hope ya'll enjoy it too!

You Will Need:
2 lb Grass Fed Organic Top Round Steak
2 Cups Organic Cooked Rice
32 oz. Organic Creamy Tomato Soup
2-4 Organic Bell Peppers 
3 Medium Organic Onions
1 pkg. Organic Mushrooms
1/2-1 Cup Organic All-Purpose Flour (in a medium bowl)
1/4 Cup Organic Olive Oil 
Salt & Pepper

Cut mushrooms 

Cut peppers 

Cut onions- add to pan

Cover meat in flour

Place in a cast iron pan covered with olive oil and cook on medium for roughly 5 to 6 minutes a side- this is to brown the meat only

Be sure to get all the brown out of the pan that is going to thicken the 'sauce'


Add your tomato soup, also add water to each can, about 4 tbsp and swish around

Season and mix

In the oven it goes, cover with foil and cook at 350 degrees for 3-4 hours, if the sauce is not thicken you will need to thicken it with organic corn starch or arrowroot powder

Make your rice

Add the meat, pepper mixture to the rice and mix together 

BAM!! Donnnnneeee!! and so amazingly, heavily yummy!
