1/2 Cup Organic Butter, softened & unsalted
1 Cup Organic Sugar (I used Coconut Sugar)
1/2 Cup Organic Brown Sugar
1 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract
1 Organic Egg, room temp
1/3 Cup Organic Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp Organic Raw Milk
1 3/4 Cup Organic All-Purpose Flour
1/4 tsp Baking Powder (Bob's Red Mill)
1 Cup Organic Chocolate Chips (add walnuts for crunch)
1. Cream the sugar, butter and vanilla together. Add egg and beat to combine. Add milk and cocoa powder and slowly combine together (the cocoa powder will puff all over you unless you go slow! I have learned my lesson haha)!
2. Add flour, and baking powder, mix until all the flour is no longer visible. Add chocolate chips (and walnuts if you choose too)
3. I use an ice cream scoop to scoop even amounts onto a baking sheet lined with unbleached parchment paper. Leave these in balls (as pictured below)
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 14-18 minutes. Once cooled enough, dip the tops in organic powder sugar! There are chewy and taste much like brownies!
